Mike and I both arrived to Rutherford around the same time from rather different places, and spent a lot of time in the gym together. The high school summers spent at the gym or at his house watching Pulp Fiction were exactly what memories of growing up should be.
Since then, Mike has joined the NYPD. He continues to be a comic book nerd on the inside, and we all love him for it. Lauren and I, although extremely excited to have Mike be a part of our day, have decided to require that Mike wear sunglasses for the ceremony, so his baby blues don’t distract from our moment.
